I'm new to San Jose, so getting a doctor was not easy. I'm glad I found the First Health Clinic in San Jose, because they took good care of me within 10 minutes of walking in.
The place is unassuming, but the front room staff & nurses are friendly and professional. Dr. Nguyen is an intelligent and caring doctor,  I'd recommend this place.

I came in on a Sunday for sore throat. Their staffs were friendly and prompt. The attending MD was friendly and thorough. I would definitely return next time.

Very caring doctor and staff‎
I recently went to Dr. Nguyen with extreme pain and he treated me with great care and concern. I found Dr. Nguyen and staff to be very considerate and very knowledgeable. I definitely recommend First Health Medical Clinic in San Jose to anyone in need of medical treatment. They will take very good care of you.

Dr. Nguyen is one of the best Doctors I have ever seen in my life. He cares, he is very sensitive, knowledgeable and friendly. He makes sure to evaluate you to the fullest to make a good diagnosis. He treated my daughter and I with respect and was very personable. He is affordable and works with your budget. Without a single doubt I highly recommend Dr. Nguyen!

...After a quick examination, he determined the problem and offered me some inexpensive antibiotics for my bronchitis.  He saved me from paying twice as much at Walgreens!

The next day, I was feeling much better.... and I felt very taken care of at this facility.... Thanks to Dr. Nguyen and his nurse, I am getting back to good health, and I really appreciate their friendly, helpful attitudes during my time of need.

Fast & convenient
First Health Urgent Care provides many similar services at emergency room but without the long waits. My son got a long cut on his leg and needed more than 10 stitches. We were able to see him [Dr. Nguyen]quickly and were out of there in less than 30 minutes. The cost was also substantially lower compared to hospital. In an emergency room, my son would have to wait for hours.

I was looking for a doctor for my mother's (visiting from Canada, no US health insurance) common cold prescription medicine and I found First Health Urgent Care through yelp.  I had 100% positive experience: the doctor's rate is posted on the wall, there was minimal paper work, no wait time and most importantly doctor and the staff were very informative, helpful and professional.  Dr. Nguyen was excellent.  My mother was so happy with the doctor that she suggested me to change my primary physician to him!! I go to Camino medical through my PPO. Without any hesitation, I would strongly recommend Dr. Nguyen at First Health Urgent care.

This is the BEST urgent care I have ever been to. Although the place was closed, the doctor saw me anyway and called the next day to check up on me! Great, great, great.

I went to this office the other day, and their care was great, the staff was very nice and knowledgeable and the doctor was also very nice. and I liked the fact that he took the time to hear out my problem and didn't rush just to get done!! I would definitely recommend this office.
